Terms of Service
Last updated: August 31, 2026
These terms govern your use of the TickPop app and this website. By using TickPop, you agree to them. They are written to be read, not skimmed — and they are short.
1. App Store license
If you downloaded TickPopfrom the Apple App Store, the license to the app itself is Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement between you and Apple. These Terms of Service do not replace that agreement — they supplement it with the service-specific provisions below: how the service works, your content, acceptable use, data retention, liability, and how to reach us. If anything here conflicts with Apple's EULA about the app license, Apple's EULA prevails for App Store downloads.
2. The service
TickPop lets households turn chores into a shared game: members of a room create tasks, complete them, earn XP, and compete on leaderboards. You can use the app as an anonymous guest or create an account with an email address and password. Guest profiles are tied to your installation and cannot be recovered if the app is deleted; accounts can be restored by signing in again.
3. Your responsibilities
When using TickPop, you agree to:
- keep your account credentials to yourself and not impersonate other people;
- not post content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights — remember that everything you post in a room is visible to its other members;
- not abuse, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with the service or other users' use of it;
- not attempt to gain access to rooms, accounts, or data that are not yours.
4. Your content
The tasks, room names, and other content you create remain yours. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and transmit that content solely as needed to operate the service — for example, syncing a task you created to your housemates' phones. We claim no other rights to it.
5. Availability and changes
TickPop is provided "as is". We work to keep it running well, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Rooms that go unused for an extended period are automatically deleted, together with their tasks and activity history. Back up anything you cannot afford to lose — a chore list should rarely qualify.
6. Termination
You can stop using TickPop at any time and request deletion of your account via the delete account page. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or harm other users.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TickPop and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including lost data (such as XP, streaks, badges, or deleted rooms), disputes between household members, or chores that remain undone. The service is free; our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us to use it.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
9. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use TickPop after a change means you accept the new terms.
